In EnergyGauge USA version 4.0.00 which allowed for previewing the 2014 Florida 5th Edition (2014) energy code, there was an error in the calculation when default ducts were selected that led to very high Florida code e-ratios. Similarly, by comparing default to tested, tested showed very large improvements. The default duct leakage issue has been fixed in the official release, 4.0.01, as indicated in the release notes. The result is that testing ducts to a tightness of 0.03 cfm25/ft2 (Qn=0.03) will still earn you credit, the credit is inline with expected benefit, not the exaggerated value that the bug in version 4.0 showed.
