Major Changes: Version 7.5.01 is an update that includes the latest ENERGY STAR and DOE ZERH versions for use with the Tax Credit and other features and bug fixes described in the release notes.
Reminder of new feature from 7.0.05: ResSizePro licensees now join our ResRateSizePro licensees in having the option of entering the building geometry via a drawing tool, Kwik Model. Kwik Model also allows for drawing a duct system. Look for emails communicating opportunities for free training from FSEC. Added infiltration volume to detailed infiltration section of input summary reports. Ceiling types were expanded on ceiling screens (See the Ceiling Help Section for more information).
Version 7.0.00 was a major release and if you are upgrading from version 6 you may want to read the release notes for Version 7.0.00 at the bottom also. Version 7.5.01 will overwrite 7.0.01-7.5.00 (your building files will be saved in Documents/EnergyGaugeUSA7/Bldgs/Backup or your user defined backup). Version 7 will not overwrite Version 6. Look for the EGUSA7 icon to run Version 7.
For a complete list of changes please refer to the release notes linked here or attached below.
FL Code: EnergyGauge USA 7.5.01 calculates Florida Code as in version 7.5.00 which has been approved for the 7th edition 2020 Code calculations with the 2022 Supplement. Any minor bug fixes or other changes are described in the full release notes.
